About
After having studied Musicology, Media Studies and Literary Theory at the University of Paderborn, I worked as research associate at the HfM Weimar/FSU Jena from 2002–06, where I did a doctorate in Mauricio Kagel’s musical work. In 2001 and 2005 I received a scholarship from the Paul Sacher Stiftung (Basle). Since November 2007 I have been research fellow at the Forschungsinstitut für Musiktheater and 2009 I began to work as joint editor and editor-in-chief for the magazine Act – Zeitschrift Musik und Performance (www.act.uni-bayreuth.de).
